This weekend we are back with the ACSA, this time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe for the Region 7 Spring Conference from May 4-6 at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel!
We’ll be at table 28 talking all about the benefits Get More Math can provide. Additionally, GMM will be highlighted in a session Saturday morning (8:45-10 a.m. in the SS Blaisdel room) talking about improving long-term math retention in the classroom. Dave Urquhart, superintendent at Big Oak Flat/Groveland, and Mary Lindsley, teacher at Belleview Elementary School, will be discussing how they have significantly improved math retention in Tuolumne County, and GMM founder Josh Britton will explain the rationale behind our methods.
